Faneuil is Supporting the State of Florida with Toll Road Customer Services!
In February 2005, Faneuil was awarded a contract by the Florida Department of Transportation
to create and operate a dedicated customer contact center, situated in Orlando, to manage transactions and
communications relating to the SunPass Pre-Paid Toll System. Implemented across most of Florida's toll roadways, SunPass saves
drivers time and the hassle of having change at the ready when they pass through tolls.
Toll revenues are generated from nearly 600 miles of roadway, including a turnpike.
Revenues for the Turnpike Enterprise are approximately $620,000,000 per year, and approximately 55.8% of the
annual toll transactions are paid by electronic tolls.
SunPass customers have more than doubled in one year to over 1 million.
Violation Processing
Violations occur when vehicles pass through a toll plaza and the toll is not paid, or when the
electronic toll collection system fails to read a transponder.
Faneuil approaches each violation from a problem solving position, viewing "the
violator" as a client, and making every effort to remedy the situation.
